 The history of Omersub begins in the late seventies, with the specific mission of developing and manufacturing top quality equipment for a few very demanding spearfishing champions.
Its founders could then benefit from the experience of firearms manufacturer Beretta, directly involved in the start-up capital of Omersub, both in the design and manufacturing of high precision and unique spear guns and spearfishing accessories.
Since then, Omersub has unceasingly pursued its original mission, reaching unique experiences in the application of new solutions for all products related to the diving activity, never forgetting its deep roots in the mystical world of skindiving and spearfishing. In 1993 Omersub has joined the multinational group Beta Tools of Milan-Italy (www.beta-tools.com), leader in the manufacturing of professional hand and pneumatic tools, distributed in 76 countries world-wide since 1939.
 Through the synergies with Beta Tools, Omersub is recognised today as the world leading manufacturer of spearfishing equipment, offering a line of high quality products, whose performances and safety are continuously maximised by the combined experiences of a staff of over 40 dedicated technicians, and a work force of over 1.000.
Specifically developed polymers, stainless steels, light alloys such as Ergal and titanium, but also carbon, Kevlar and other composite fibres are studied, combined and implemented today through the use of CAD-CAM 3D design technologies
The original enthusiasm, that has granted Omersub a place among the major world manufacturers of diving products today, has been kept thanks to a basic but essential requisite: spear fishing remains the first priority of our most involved managers and staff.
Every Omersub product is entirely designed and developed inside by our technicians. We have a staff of six engineers dedicated to specific areas such as: materials research, plastic moulding, metal working, wetsuits design and production.
Our technical department makes use of the latest technologies available such as CAD-CAM 3D design. We engineer every product starting from the design of the moulds to the final assembly and testing.
At Omersub, our priority is the reliability of our products, from design and development to field testing, through relevant inspection procedures that ensure accordance with specific standards.
Our quality control staff continuously monitors every step of production, and 100% of the final products, to guarantee total quality of our items.
Before arriving in your hands, all our products undergo severe testing in extreme conditions by commercial divers and international spearfishing champions.
