Description:

The SF-5 is made of urethane with its superior impact resilience. The superior moldability of urethane enables a compound materials structure (Hybrid blade system) for ideal channel action.

Another unique feature is the supple impact resilience similar to rubber fins thanks to the urethane materials. The SF-5 fins, which combine these two features on a high level of perfection, are easy-to-use short blade fins offering superior propulsion. They are great for all users: woman divers, beginners and veteran divers.

Urethane
Urethane fins combine the suppleness of rubber fins with the stylishness of plastic fins. Plastic fins, now the central item on the market, feature outstanding moldability to enable complex designs in terms of fluidics and ergonomics. You can also freely combine different materials and create a double blade construction, for example. Rubber fins offer the outstanding impact resilience only rubber can realize. Although lacking in moldability, their unique impact resilience has maintained their popularity. Urethane fins combine both of these qualities in a single product, offering superior moldability and impact resilience.

Short Blade
To maximize the effects of the high impact resilience which is a feature of urethane, TUSA has done painstaking research on blade and side rib configuration. While adopting the short blade type with its superior care properties, we have been able to achieve outstanding propulsion force. The movement properties and ease of use make them perfect for women divers and beginners. The supple propulsion force achieved with the impact resilience is great even for veteran divers. Here are the perfect fins for all user groups.

Hybrid Blade System In order to achieve sufficient channel action, the fins feature a combination of soft materials in a Hybrid Blade System structure where the blade surface effectively catches the water when kicking. In combination with superior resilience of urethane material, this Hybrid Blade System provides greater propulsion.

One-Touch Buckle [PAT]
The TUSA one-touch buckle, for which we hold a world patent, has undergone a further development. Now you need only insert the buckle or press the release button for fast and easy donning and removal of fins. They are particularly good for exits during boat diving or beach entries and exits during strong ground swell. Needless to add, the system offers extremely fine strap adjustment and a firm hold on the boots.

Foot pocket
The ergonomically designed frontal configuration of the foot pocket section makes it easier to don and remove fins. There's less slippage during beach en-tries thanks to the pattern protruions on the bottom of the fins.
