Take the tough, economical R195, add a longer hose and color it neon yellow for high visibility, and you've got the R190 octopus. This is a high-performance second stage that has be-come Scubapro most popular backup regulator. Thanks to its rever-sible-hose feature, the R190 can be mounted practically anywhere. The hose is an extra-long 39 inches for extra reach in emergencies, and for versatility in mounting. Diver-adjust-able VIVA allows de-tuning to avoid wasting air in the ready position, yet allows boosted delivery when assisting out-of-air divers in emergencies.
